Good morning Tribe!
It's our Monday Morning charge up again.
This could be your perfect Monday morning motivation but I want to share a few tips on how I have been surviving COVID-19; no, not the disease but the times and season.

According to the World Health Organization, COVID-19 was announced as a pandemic on 11 March 2020, and since then, the whole world has been filled with uncertainty.
The world has also shifted and adjusted its ways to fit into the time and season we are in at the moment. I mean, I personally would never have thought there would be a day I will not be able to be gathered together in fellowship with my brethren. There were times I didn't go to church and I had to be chased around with phone calls but never for once did I think there will be a day and time I would want to go to church and not be able to.

I have also missed hugs a lot. My family used to tease me that hugging people is like a compulsory task that I must do. If you were meeting me for the first time, I will rather hug you than just do handshakes. Now I can't do all that no more. I am pained!
This morning is not for my whining about the things I can't do anymore or the things I miss. So I will drop a few tips on how I have been trying and working to stay sane in this season.

I have had to do a mindset change. The truth is, the World has changed and if we refuse to change with it we will lose ourselves in no time.

Here are three tools for my mindset changed I've had to do recently.

1. Self realization: if you haven't already done that, now is the time to realize who you truly are. Who are you? What are your capacity, your potentials, and your abilities? Just like I did a soul searching and went ahead to shake off the dust and pick up my writing skills and channeled it into blogging, you also need to pick something up now. It doesn't have to be perfect at first but just keeps going and you will become a force in no time.

2. Self-appraisal: Appraise yourself and see if what you have done in the last few years or months is worth it. Are they yielding results for you or just marking time? The same goes for character and attitude. All the fight, struggle, bitterness, and anger is it yielding any result of it is hyping you into high blood pressure and gradually turning you into a monster? You need to do a "stop and search".

3. Self-evaluation: evaluate your self and see where you need to increase the speed or pull the breaks. You might also need to change somethings to fit in. It can no longer be business as usual. It is time to look into other areas and prayerfully make some moves and evolve.

One company that has evolved in the season is Kodak.
This company formed a great part of my childhood memories as a company been historically known for camera and films (you already know  I love pictures), has now moved into drug making, and has just secured a 765 million dollars loan from the United State government. Talk about reinvention!

Back home I also know one strong and very consistent woman who has remained relevant in business and is constantly meeting the needs of the people around her.
Eki Empire used to be my "go to person" for Hair and beauty care during my NYSC days in 2010.
During the lockdown, from cooking random meals and posting it up on her social media platforms she has soon started a full fledged food business launching "Eki's kitchen". She has the most amazing food spices and other food items that will leave you running to her for more. This alone has given her recognition all over the world where she daily ships her product to.

Little wonder she is known as "The Extraordinary market woman".
Talk about reinvention.

Take a stroll through her Facebook page and be sure to order some mouth watering food items.  Click to view her page here

I am running off now to take my own advice on reinvention. I just might be writing that book this year, so help me God.
Whatever we are doing henceforth, we will continue to bring out the best in us.
What new thing have you done or are you going to kick start in this season?
