SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER
Welcome back, or should I say "thank you for staying tuned" because I know you all never left the Semes Nooks blog.
I am sorry for being away for so long (the last post here was 10th of August). This baby girl was very ill but I am better now, glory to God.
Thank you all for sending your love and prayers and for checking up on me. The love has been so overwhelming and to be honest, it gave me the strength to "get up and go" because this baby girl saw the seven hills and valleys. Again I am thankful ( feeling so emotional right now. You already know I love love, lol).
I also had an amazing love and care from my family. It felt so good to know and be reminded that you are loved against all odds. Yes, I've been a prodigal for a while (covers face). I am thankful for family and my sisters (you know yourselves).
So we are in a new month and September already. Allow me to congratulate you on making it this far. God has been merciful and we can only be thankful.
This month, I just want to celebrate and be thankful for every moment. I know we will be tempted to say "what exactly is there to be thankful for in the midst of all the chaos?" It could be worse so we chose "Thankful". Trust me, there were times when I felt I didn't deserve to be ill, especially since I had shared a testimony earlier of how God healed me of the same illness and now it even came back with a bang, worse than it was before.
If you have been or is even in a situation like me where you have felt disappointed or let down just take a look at this; "If you fail under pressure, your strength is too small." (Proverbs 24:10 NLT).
It is also worthy to note that our race as God's children is one that is filled with love and care and He is more than willing to go any length just t to prove this. So, again I chose "Thankful". "Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!" Philippians 4:4 NLT
As we march through to December and even beyond and in whatever circumstance, our watchword will continue to be "Thankful".
"Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name". Hebrews 13:15 AMPC
