My Work Don't Matter, He Loved Me First.

Welcome to my worship corner Tribe!

It's been a minute with worship corner.

So how have you been keeping your faith strong and going?

Well for me I have been a bit on and off (and no, that isn't why we paused on "my worship corner).

While going on and off I have had cause to ask all the "whys" and "why me", and the responses have always remained and focused on how much God's love is unending and unfailing.

The truth is, sometimes we get overwhelmed by circumstances around us and begin to think "does God even love me? Does He see me? If He does sees me, why will He  allow me to go through all this pain, even after all my labour of love?"

No sir! His love for us is not and cannot be measured by anything, not even our work. If this wasn't so probably would have waited till we were being born, matured enough to do all the work that is required or that can be quitted to His love.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8
New American Standard Bible

In my conversations with him, which is in a much better form now, by the way, I have been reminded repeatedly that When I felt no worth,  He paid it all for me. Now I know there’s no shadow He won’t light up, No mountain He won’t climb up, no wall He won’t kick down, and no lie He won’t tear down Coming after me. Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God!

His love is so real and infallible.

This is my new favorite confession of Reckless Love by Cory Asbury.

RECKLESS LOVE
LYRICS BY CORY ASBURY

"Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me
You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me
You have been so, so kind to me

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah

When I was Your foe, still Your love fought for me
You have been so, so good to me
When I felt no worth, You paid it all for me
You have been so, so kind to me

And oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
And I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah

There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me
There’s no shadow You won’t light up
Mountain You won’t climb up
Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
Lie You won’t tear down
Coming after me

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
And I couldn’t earn it, I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah"
