This is a special appreciation post. Yes, just as the title says, it is coming in a century later.  Let me start by saying a big “thank you” to everyone who celebrated with us on the occasion of our First Blogging Anniversary. We couldn't have come this far without you.  Thank you for sticking by and for staying through.  ... And a special apology for keeping silent here since the Anniversary post.  It is not intentional. I see all your comments and they are well appreciated.  Unfortunately, I cannot reply to comments at the moment due to some technical hitches.  I guess my village people are at work again. I am currently on my knees begging with seven purple spotted cows and fourteen orange spotted donkeys trying to appease the gods😁 The hitches will be resolved in no time and we will be back to having conversations here. The day is finally here💃💃💃💃 It's our anniversary Tribe! We did it. I mean 365 days of walking this path with you all.  I can't believe it's one year already since I pushed the publish button for the first blog post and I must say it has been an amazingly interesting journey. Thank you all for steadily holding my hands and walking this path with me. I am grateful! We started this journey exactly a year ago (whoops I love the sound of that!) as a heaven for everyone.  I've been cracking my head all through May, (I like to pride myself as a planner but I'm shamelessly a “last minute babe”)  Yes, I've been thinking of what our anniversary post will be all about but to this day, I couldn't come up with anything because I am simply in awe of how The Tribe has grown in a year.  I thank God for this project and for counting me worthy.  Please read our first blog post on “ Welcome to Semes Nooks Blog”  and see how we started. He's never lost a battle and He never will. Today's worship corner is a reassurance of the power of God.  You see en, there are times when you feel like the battle is over and you lost. You prayed, somersaulted, and even drew blood, still nothing shakes but it rather became worse.  Those are the times God shows Himself the best. Just think of Mr. Lazarus who was one of Jesus’s family friends, even after all the service and labour of love, not forgetting the Sunday Sunday rice his sister was always preparing for Jesus. Yet, he got sick and then, died. This is the favorite part for naysayers “ after all your prayers and service to God, nothing has changed”  But like Jesus said “this sickness...... (input whatever the challenge is) is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified.” John 11:4  King James Version (KJV) So yes, Jesus never lost a battle. It's a new week and the last week in May, and guess what? Drum rolllllllllllllll it's our anniversary week! Oh yes! I am super excited. Finally, the dream came to pass. Oh, it's no longer a dream but a reality. First I was worried if I would ever be able to push the publish button for the first blog post but I did (after much threat from over concerned citizens of the Seme Tribe of course), then came the fear of  “will this even last at all (don't blame me, I have the highest world record of too many abandoned projects). After almost 365 days, here we are still standing strong. Since May the 26th is just around the corner, we might as well do the anniversary post today. Just kidding! Before the day ends I just wanted to take out time to tell   you this,  Every woman is a Mother whether you have birthed or in the process of birthing a child or not. You are an incubator Someone once said "a woman is a man with a womb ; #Wombman" and I totally agree because women are actually men, but only a stronger version. Because how else can you define a human who is mad enough to push another human the size of a large cabbage down a tiny hole that is not even more than 4.8 to 6.3 I'm. Or even another human who is crazier and bold enough to lie on a table and have her stomach slit into two like a ram to slaughter just because the large cabbage sized human chose to follow that route out.  If you think that is crazy, here is something that is even crazier. Picture this, there's a woman, in her kitchen, cooking and stirring with one hand, arranging the house with another, attending to business with the other, sending office mails with another (I hear it is called

May is here!!!  Welcome to a new week Tribe! Or should I say Happy New Month Tribe! Or better still, this could be your Monday Morning Motivation!
