SPECIAL NEEDS ADVOCACY
Welcome to a new week.
It is the WinterABC2021 Advocacy week and today I am leading my voice to Children. Yeah! They seem to be the only set of people who cannot speak for themselves.
I am talking about children, especially children with special needs.
A special needs child has been determined to require special attention and specific necessities that other children do not.
Some of the most common special needs that children are diagnosed with are speech delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cognitive delays, Down Syndrome, etc.
While we might not know about the presence of these conditions in our children unless through diagnoses, Some conditions are very obvious to the eyes.
Special needs children are human just like every other child and should be treated that way.
Love the Special Needs Child.
We will be talking more on this in Advocacy weekDay 5
