MY CHRISTMAS HARMATTAN

Image
Hey Tribe, How are you all doing?  It's the weekend and 7 days to Christmas. I woke up this morning to the sweet breeze of the harmattan and I can only but remember all my Christmas memories as a village girl.  The early morning harmattan cold, the dry leaves, very dusty road, and not forgetting the dry cracked lips and heels that will make one like all white and snow. The Christmas harmattan wasn't my favourite because it always left me with cracked skin and I always wondered if it had a personal vendetta against me. My brother always joked that the best time to pick a bide was during the harmattan because only then can one know the real beauty that will stand the test of time (side eye at him) Well, look at me now! Aside the Christmas harmattan, the season itself was always my favourite of the year because of all the fun and love in the air. This year's has been nothing short of it. What is your Christmas reason looking like? What are your Christmas harmattan season memor

DON'T WASTE YOUR PAIN

Image
Pain is  the physical feeling caused by disease, injury, or something that hurts the body. Pain is sadness caused by some emotional or mental problem. Pain is someone or something that causes TROUBLE or makes you feel annoyed or angry. Pain is PAINFUL!  But also very beautiful sometimes. Little wonder why the most beautiful things in life sometimes come through immense labour and pain. Imagine the birth of a child; a woman's travail until the cry of a baby is heard or studying hard for a course until the final day of graduation. When pain happens it is important not to get carried away with the anguish but to trade it for something glorious.  On the 5th day of Christmas find someone who's going through your past pain and encourage them today. Shared useful tips on how you overcame. DON'T WASTE YOUR PAIN. #12daysofChristmas #day5 #Don’twasteyourpastpain Xoxo ©️Rachel Jesuseme

A GOOD TIME TO LEAVE YOUR PAST FAILURES BEHIND

Image
Hey Tribe, Today I’m packing my bags early and going on this long journey.  I’m not sure I’m ever going to be back because dwelling on these past failures isn’t going to yield any good. Oh no, I didn’t fail, I only learnt new styles how not to do things and new routes I would have taken. So on the 4th day of Christmas, I’m taking my “L” sign and taking a long walk. 12daysofChristmas #day4 #Agoodtimetoleavemypastfailuresbehind Xoxo ©️Rachel Jesuseme

December is here, finally!!!  Welcome Oboshan! Káàbọ̀! Sannu da zuwa! nno̱! Bienvenue La Bienvenida Welkom Hey Tribe! Welcome to a new week and our first official post in December.  I guess you are as excited as I am because a lot has happened this year and we are grateful to be alive to witness the last month of the year.  Yes, December is here and we hope even more than ever before that only the best is reserved for us in this new month. It is my prayer that God perfects all that concerns us and we will surely end the year with testimonies. This is the last month of this eventful year, 2021 and the  Tribe is in a thanksgiving mood till the end of the year. Appreciating God in totality for the highs and lows and everything in between. It is also time to review the year that is just about to pass by. How was your vision board? How did you fair with all the plans you had written in there? What went well and what were you not able to achieve? What would you have done differently if given
