Trust In Every Step Of The Way

We’ve toiled and labored all night. Now it is almost dawn and the reward for your labor is almost here but you just can’t see it yet. Good things are coming even when we can't see them. God is bringing your reward sooner than you expect. I am sharing this song from my worship corner today to encourage you in the remaining parts of the year. Whatever plans you have, just keep running with it. You will see the glory soon enough. Trust God. SONG TITLE: HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET LYRICS BY: DANNY GOKEY Have you been praying and you still have no answers? Have you been pouring out your heart for so many years? Have you been hoping that things would have changed by now? Have you cried all the faith you have through so many tears? Don't forget the things that He has done before And remember He can do it all once more It's like the brightest sunrise Waiting on the other side of the darkest night Don't ever lose hope, hold on and believe Maybe you just haven't seen it, just hav

Strategy For Focus

Hey Tribe! Welcome to a new week.  I welcome you officially to a new month, July of focus. We are already in the second half of the year and in no distant time from now, we will be bidding goodbye to 2021. It also means it is time to revisit your vision board and do an appraisal of the happenings so far. It is time to dance in victory to your accomplishments and reflect on your shortcoming. No, we never weep. Sometimes, people find it very difficult to move away from and move past their shortcomings or failures.  The only way to move past failure is to focus and strategize. Do not be deterred by past failures, and the only way to do that effectively is to set your eyes on the goal. Another way is to re-strategize.  “ Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result” Albert Einstein So how about you try a different way other than you have done it before? How about you ask someone for a little help, guidance, and direction? God's grace is sufficie

I Was Part Of A 22 Days Challenge. Here Is How It Went Down

It is day 22 of the 22 days of WintererABC2021 Afrobloggers writers challenge. For 22 day Afrobloggers has given creatives an opportunity to showcase their talents and use the platform to interact with other Creatives. I tell you I've had the opportunity to meet the finest of them. Today, as the journey comes to an end. I am happy to be a part of something this big, even bigger then me.  There were times when I got tired and almost backed down but I am glad I got the courage to keep going. Special thanks to the community for standing by everyone, for sharing ideas on each week's task, and for the constant interaction with one another. On a lighter mood, I  made a compilation of the  different kinds of participants from the hall of participants. From my imagination,  for your laughing pleasure. 22 types of  participants in the 22 days WinterABC2021 challenge. *The Ready set go gang: these are the set of people who are ever ready, born ready, I mean they were born to do this.

Today's worship corner is a declaration of God's blessings from Numbers 6:24-26. So many things are happening and going wrong around the world today. You could say, it's the signs of the end time. Over the past few months, I've had to just speak God's word over me and my family. We might be i n this world but we are not of the world, and we can only survive the cares of this world by hiding under God's word and blessings over us. Meditate on the lyrics of this song and declare God's words over you and your family.  SONG TITLE: THE BLESSING LYRICS DONE BY: ELEVATION WORSHIP FT. KARI JOBE The Lord Bless you a nd Keep you Make His Face Shine upon you And be gracious to you The Lord Turn His  Face Toward you And Give you Peace Amen, Amen, Amen Amen, Amen, Amen The Lord Bless you a nd Keep you Make His Face Shine upon you And be gracious to you The Lord Turn His  Face Toward you And Give you Peace (Amen, Amen, Amen Amen, Amen, Amen)  {  May His Favor be upon you

Hey Tribe! I am screaming this from the depth of my heart. How are you all doing? It is the last week of June and we are super thankful to God for keeping us alive and well.  I know a lot of people are already reviewing their set goals for 2021 and wondering if there would still be time to meet up with the deadline (who is chasing us though?). Well, if that big thing hasn't happened yet, you just have to keep moving right?. Beyond achieving our goals, I am also thinking about our shape as humans and how it can be used to affect the world around us.  Your S.H.A.P.E is God's unique purpose for your life. It is what you have been gifted for. It takes application for your gifts to be fanned into flame. SHAPE is an acronym for  *Spiritual Gifts *Heart *Abilities  *Personality *Experiences 1. SPIRITUAL GIFTS Whatever extraordinary power God has blessed you with is for service to Humanity and God's kingdom. The act of Love is also a gift, how much of it are you using?  2. HEART Th

My Fashion is “Comfortable” and “Beautiful”

“Fashion is a form of self-expression and autonomy at a particular period and place in a specific context, of clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, make-up, hairstyle, and body posture”. This is the universal definition of fashion. My definition of fashion is BEAUTIFUL and COMFORTABLE. It doesn't matter how much or what brand it is, so long as it looks good on me and I don't feel faint underneath (beauty is pain sometimes), then I am good to go. Fashion is beautiful but it is also expensive. It is one thing to be able to navigate your finances when you are single (or maybe not), but when you get married and the kids start coming, it becomes a race that never ends.  I have been a reckless spender and impulsive buyer and I can confidently say being a Mum has/ is shaping and curbing most of my excesses.  It is important that we not only teach our children to live right but also, live our lives as an open book that the younger generation can truly read and learn from.
